TUSD Holds Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony and Open House
for Foothill High School Event Center

The Tustin Unified School District will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony and community open house for Foothill High School’s new Event Center on Friday, May 18. The ribbon-cutting will begin at 10 a.m. and the open house will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. during the school’s Friday Night Food Trucks event. The school is located at 19251 Dodge Ave. and the public is invited.

The Foothill Event Center is approximately 33,000 square feet and includes a lobby, basketball and volleyball courts, storage, stage and platform, and theatrical lighting. In addition, there is a two-story building that houses four rooms to be used for dance classes, weight lifting, wrestling and physical education.

The new gym was designed by NTD Architecture and constructed by Balfour Beatty Construction. The project cost approximately $13 million and was funded through the Measure L campus modernization program.
